My 20+ year career in the business has included District Sales Manager positions for the top leading retailers and manufacturers across North America and the World.
Over my career I have held managerial roles at Bata International, Athlete’s World, Sunglass Hut, and Aldo. While in these positions, I had a track record for building and training teams of 20 managers and 130 staff, focusing on achieving revenue goals and high customer satisfaction levels. Not only did I train and build teams, I planned district and store budgets including salaries, and operating and revenue dollar budgets. I stayed up-to-date on business trends and developed recommendations for process improvements based on current practices. I reviewed and analyzed statistical reports and created action plans based on the data. In these positions I made decisions in time sensitive situations, addressed complex problems and took calculated risks.
I have also held positions as a Human Resources Associate, have experience as a Business Owner myself, and was the Small Business Instructor for Sask Polytechnique Institute (SIAST).
For the past seven years I have held positions of Marketing Director, and Marketing Strategist.
